Comfort
Link®, a general partnership between Constellation
Energy subsidiary Baltimore Gas and Electric Company and
EMCOR Group, Inc., has been providing cooling to buildings
in the downtown Baltimore business corridor since 1996.
Constellation
Energy's Projects & Services Group (CEPS) designed,
developed, constructed and now operates a central chilled
water plant for The Rouse Company's Fashion Show Mall
in Las Vegas, NV.
The Metro Nashville District Energy System (DES) provided
heating and cooling to buildings in downtown Nashville
for nearly 30 years, relying on an aging trashburning
plant with limited reliability and capacity. Despite numerous
efforts to improve operations and safety and increase
capacity, the facility struggled to remain economically
and environmentally viable. Nashville Metro Council retained
Constellation Energy's Projects & Services Group (CEPS)
to design, develop and operate a new state-of-the-art
$46 million district energy system.
The Pittsburgh Steelers selected Constellation to design,
develop, operate and maintain its central energy plant
serving the 65,000 seat Heinz Field. Constellation built
the entire energy infrastructure for heating, cooling
and hot water supply at the stadium.
