Mechanical/ Electrical Upgrades
Following a thorough evaluation of your existing energy infrastructure we recommend the appropriate system upgrades and work with you on all mechanical and electrical upgrades. We are product neutral – we leverage strong existing relationships with most major equipment and control suppliers to competitively procure and install the system that best fits your needs.
Performance Contracting
CEPS offers energy performance contracting (EPC) to customers as a way to finance and implement capital energy improvements and services. In the EPC model, energy and cost savings produced by the project cover all project costs, including financing and performance period expenses (such as operations and maintenance and measurement and verification), over the contract term. Contract terms can be up to 20 years with during guaranteed performance. CEPS has a long history of successful performance contracting projects.

Water/ Wastewater Plant Improvements
CEPS has been very successful implementing energy projects in this specialized sector. Our projects have included multiple process improvements at water and wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, distribution systems and facilities. Working closely with plant personnel, we have provided turn-key solutions with guaranteed results.

Energy Resources
As demonstrated by the recent Energy Bill and much of the talk in the energy industry, renewable energy resources are an extremely important and fast growing part of the country’s energy future. CEPS is glad to be a part of this, as the recipient of two Federal Contract Awards for renewable energy resources (Geothermal Heat Pumps and Biomass and Alternative Methane Fuels – see our Federal page for more information) and a track record of delivering successful renewable energy projects.
Measurement and Verification (Enerscope)
CEPS knows that measurement and verification is the key to sustainable energy savings. We are experts in FEMP M&V guidelines, and have over 450 active customers in our portfolio with over 14,000 data collection points. In 2003, customers achieved 105% of budgeted savings. The CEPS operations center provides customers easy-to-use, web-based software that can manage energy consumption and continuously analyze performance of process and building automation systems operating on different platforms and multiple sites.
